Mobid Angel - Illud Divinum Insanus Review

The new Morbid Angel album succeeds at being genuinely fucking terrible. Musically it's the most lackluster album Morbid Angel has ever composed. The insanity of Trey Azagthoth's solos as well as Pete Sandoval's savage drumming has dissipated if not completely disappeared in Illud Divinum Insanus. Unfortunately David Vincent's inane and trifling vocals come through loud and clear. Songs on Illud Divinum Insanus boast idiotic titles such as 'Radikult' and 'Too Extreme!" and the lyrics read like an angst ridden teenager's notebook with some occult references thrown in for good measure. The track 'Destructos vs. The Earth' is just fucking pathetic and embarrassing.

This is really an unconscionably bad album.
